Gerald and Belinda Cook Owners

In 1966 Gerald Cook entered the jewelry business as an employee at Zales Jewelers located at that time in the downtown area of El Dorado.

In 1974 Gerald Cook joined the staff of Hawkins Jewelers, and then became a partner 1985.

In 1994, Gerald took full ownership of the store. The name of the store was then changed to Cook Jewelers.

In 1999 Belinda Cook joined the staff as co-owner. The present staff consists of Paul West, Lisa Antoon, Brian Hamilton, Doris Lanehart, Vickie Pesnell, and owners Gerald & Belinda Cook.

Paul West Sales Manager

Paul West began his career with Cook Jewelers in October of 1994 and serves as the Store Manager. He has extensive experience in the jewelry industry including assisting Mr. & Mrs. Cook with jewelry, diamond, gemstone and timepiece purchasing for Cook Jewelers. Paul has been a life long resident of the El Dorado area. After graduating from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia with a degree in Business Administration, Paul married and had two children. Paul and his family still reside in the area. His knowledge of the jewelry industry is always appreciated by the customers and staff of Cook Jewelers. Lisa Antoon Jewelry Events & Advertising Coordinator

Lisa began her jewelry career in 1978 in El Dorado but moved from Arkansas in 2002 and relocated to Florida where she became the Events Coordinator for a Chamber of Commerce that maintained a 400+ business membership. As the Events Coordinator Lisa organized and facilitated over 50 events each year for the Chamber and its members including all aspects such as venue selection, vendors, exposure, community participation and she organized and worked with many of the local committees in order to realize successful events. Lisa and her family relocated back to the South Arkansas area and Lisa is now a member of Cook Jewelers Staff. She is enjoying her return to the jewelry business and the community. She believes the knowledge she learned as Events Coordinator along with her customer service skills and jewelry background will be beneficial in promoting the values and benefits of Cook Jewelers to the community. Bryan Hamilton In House Jeweler

Bryan, his wife and family are long time members of the El Dorado Community. Bryan is an avid hunter and outdoorsman; he also loves riding his motorcycle when the weather permits. Bryan began his career as a Jeweler in 1995 with his training at the Trenton Jewelry School in Tennessee. In order to stay current on changes in the jewelry repair industry, he regularly attends The Texas Institute of Jewelry. Bryan has been the in-house Jeweler at Cook Jewelers for over 14 years. Bryan provides a variety of services, which include ring sizing, chain repair, diamond and gemstones settings, plating, custom jewelry design and various other services upon request. Bryan will always give you a quote on your custom design work or jewelry repair. Vickie Pesnell Office Administrator

Vickie has been a member of the Cook Staff for over five years and has been a life long member of the El Dorado community. She and her husband have extensive family in the south Arkansas area and they enjoy working in the community and helping the people here. Vickie also has extensive Office, Jewelry and Customer Service experience and she continues to be an asset to Cook Jewelers through her past work experience. She is the one you need to see as an expert in the ZABLE Bead line. Vickie handles the Administration of the Office; including assisting customers with financing and setting up Lay-A-Way plans for those who choose to purchase jewelry in that manner.
